We've got a busy week this week! We've got two parent presentations on cultures, Mrs. Karpowich coming in, and an assembly. Amongst all of that, here is what we'll be working on in the classroom:
Reading : Continuing on in our nonfiction unit this week, we'll be learning about how to glean information from maps, various types of print (i.e. bold words), tables of contents, indices, and glossaries.
Writing : We're nearing the end of our 'easy to read' writing unit. This week, we'll be focusing on adding details to create more meaning. We'll also be doing some partner work so that we can help one another create more meaning in our pieces.
Math : We'll finish up unit 6 this week by learning about how to use our math reference book in the classroom and about have to collect, represent, and analyze data.
Enjoy the weather!
